Rooftop Gardens

Tokyo is implementing a policy that buildings with flat roofs over a certain base size, must have a percentage of their roof devoted to rooftop gardens. A picture shows just what sort of garden you can grow on a roof! Unfortunately designers/builders are using slant roofed buildings to avoid this ruling. Perhaps one day we can have new buildings automatically incorporate solar panels, rainwater tanks and decent insulation and windows.
